To Use:
Apply an opaque layer to face and neck, avoiding the eye area. A mild tingling is normal. Let dry. Rinse thoroughly. Conclude with recommended moisturizer. Not for highly sensitive skin. Do Not Use Steam.

This mask is GREAT! Perfect for a those special occasions when you want your skin to look beautiful! This mask tingles a bit while it is on but it transforms your skin!

I love the mask ritual and have experimented with at least a dozen products in the last 5 years. This Violet Flame is remarkable. Usually after a mask I may feel squeaky clean, perhaps my skin is a bit softer etc., but I have never gotten such drastic results after a first five-minute-long application.

This mask is potent! You can feel it pulling out dirt and detoxifying your skin, it really promotes circulation in the face. It leaves me a little red after I wash it off, but that fades and then my skin glows beautifully. The smell is kinda funny though- like burnt candy, but it doesn’t last after you wash it off. I do a full mask about once a month with this, but use it a lot as a spot treatment (blemishes have met their match) and in the T-zone. For the full self pampering experience I do this mask then the golden flame or nourishing vitamin mask. Astara definitely makes the best masks!

This was in a kit with all of the Astara masks or I probably never would have tried it. What a treat! It smells wonderful and left my skin radiant and pore less. Fine lines disappeared and stayed that way for at least 48 hours. I will purchase the full size of this one for sure.

I liked this mask too. It seems difficult these days to just find a product that , well..works. Of course there is tingling which means that it is exfoliating!!! Yeah!!! I also liked the gentle scent and lack of fillers.

This product provides intense exfoliation and does dissolve away surface dead skin and acts like a vacuum. But you need to wait until in completely dries and then wait some more for it to soak up excess oil and do it's vacuuming thing which can take a long time. Best results are when I am in for the night, put it on and hang out for awhile. Too strong for those with sensitive skin but amazing if you have non-sensitive, oily skin. I can stretch time in-between facials when I use this mask regularly.

I had used the Astara blue flame facial mask before, and was interested to see how the violet flame facial mask would perform. I was very happy with the results. It left my skin feeling smooth, soft and with no breakout. Many times the day or two days after a mask you can experience an outbreak but not with this product!

I absolutely love this mask! As a licensed esthetician I have tried tons of different masks and this is one of my must haves. It's great for exfoliating the skin, you'll notice instantly how much smoother your skin feels as your removing the mask. It's also one of the only masks I've found that really draws out the blackheads! I even recommend this to clients with keratosis pilaris--ya know the little red bumps that look like chicken skin on the back of your arms. It's fairly active though, so if you're a bit sensitive I'd recommend going with the green papaya mask.
